Barbara Counsil is a local Eugene artist who has created beautiful altars celebrating the land in several different places in the U.S. She shares her vision, inspiration, and about the plant and animal species that make up these unique and diverse landscapes. The installation, which includes plants and paintings, as well as niches with items to celebrate connection to the land, is at Emerald Art Center in Springfield, Oregon through April 2021.
